In a Reiki distance session, I do the work, you don't actually have to do anything at all.

The best thing is to fix a time when you can feel at ease. This is why it is a good idea for us to agree on a time for Reiki transmission. Disconnect the phone, switch off the TV, radio and bright lights. Give yourself some minutes of peace. You don't have to concentrate either.

Just lie down somewhere nice with a blanket or whatever makes you feel comfortable, and then let go. The session at distance usually lasts about 35 minutes, and comprises three different periods. The first period is a preparation and opening. I use meditation and self-Reiki prior to sending. Reiki is sent in the second period. In the third period, I return to meditation, and close the session.

Once the agreed time is over, I suggest rest, meditation, drink some water, take it easy, or sleep.

Let Reiki go where Reiki needs.

Sessions can be one off, or in a series. In the case of a series I can do either a series of 4 sessions on consecutive days, or series of 7 sessions over a week. After that, three days break obliged. More sessions can be agreed upon, depending on how you are feeling, and whether you feel more Reiki is appropriate.

Please remember that Reiki is not a substitute for professional medical aid. But it can be safely used alongside other therapies.

Crystal-Reiki

For sometime now I have been incorporating crystal work into my Reiki sends, something that is proving to be highly effective. Again, this changes nothing for you as you receive Reiki energy. Much has been written concerning the use of crystals in Reiki transmission, and I have used this material to develop my own techniques.
